"No one is going to listen to you if you bash America...Even if you're just on the border of it, it's not right... My opinion... well, I don't know... We have to go to war, I don't want to, but it is just time to...Protesting is a waste of time... but I agree it is healthy to debate.

I was talking to my friend Jose. He came up with the greatest idea and passion, which goes along with an topic recently discussed in the editorial this month, about challenging each other to step outside their comfort zones. He wants to create off-campus housing for American and exchange students.

Internships: never too early, never too late.

College is college. No matter which one you are at, you are not doing something unique with your life. I hope you didn't believe anything otherwise. I'm not trying to be harsh, but going to college is not a unique decision. Millions of other young adults are doing the same as you, getting an education, spending money, breaking the rules, making new friends and taking in the best and/or worse of every situation.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology - a school where many of the country's best of the best students go. Let's just hope that not many more of its students end up like Elizabeth Shin. Elizabeth was a smart girl- salutatorian at her high-school graduation and an accomplished clarinetist-yet she committed suicide.

Jeanne Radicone is the supreme extreme of good people. She is of course only human, but if there is a parallel that one could cross as a reward for being more than just merely human, she is at that crossing and might not even know it. Radicone is a senior double major, elementary education and special education, and is ready to take an unusual journey after receiving her diploma this month.

Four making it look Eazy

Bands enter and exit the doorways of clubs, bars, schools and stadiums day in and day out, weeknight after weekend. Some bands perform merely for the money; some do not. Eazy Four is a local band that enters and exits the doors of opportunities with the constant thought of "doing the next right thing.

Ax falls on RAs again, another fired in past week

Matt Holmes was next to feel the smash of the Residence Life hammer with his dismissal on Tuesday, April 18. "They told me I was fired Tuesday morning and then told me I had to be out by Thursday," Holmes said. Holmes is a senior English/communications major and was an RA in Xavier Halls.

Community leaders should be accountable

There is a problem with some of the leaders of society today. For every problem there is a solution, but how do reparations start when the wound is self-inflicted? There are a lot of opinions presented as to how to heal and prevent incidents such as molestation from occurring; but there has not been much spoken about how to better the characteristics of our leaders.

He is single, successful and living in a beachfront Malibu mansion with various beautiful women who are "candidates" for his heart. After a couple of weeks he's going to pop the big question to one of the women and they just might live happily-ever-after. I want to know who in the world buys into this junk! Why is there such a category as reality TV? "The Bachelor" is what I am referring to, which is the newest show to this bunch of crap television.

Penn Relays run into Philly at the end of April

The 2002 Penn Relays, the oldest and largest relay carnival in the world, is right around the corner. This year the Penn Relays is celebrating its 108 running on Thursday, April 25, Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27. The relays always fall on the last weekend of April with this year being no different.
