Skype connects iPhone users on the go

Skype has worked its way into the iTunes Store as one of the newest application for the iPhone. Although Cabrini students and professors are finding the program to be a clever addition to the iPhone applicaton family, they do not see an extreme need to use it.

Participants angered over outcome of Cabrini Idol

The Winners, a group made up of eight Campus Activities and Programming Board, won the Cabrini Idol competition held on Saturday, March 10 in the Dixon Center. This brought up much debate between the other contestants and the audience. Sophomore liberal arts major Jennifer Daily, who had been a contestant on Cabrini Idol, was not happy when The Winners were declared in first place.

Harvick wins Daytona 500

The Daytona 500; even people who aren't NASCAR fans see this race as very important. This race is the showcase of the year to come in National Association for Stock Car Racing and those who have wonthis race are frequently dominate that year. This time around the track, many previous winners were fighting hard to obtain the last open spots for the race.

Sharae Middlebrook, no. 22, leads the women's basketball team this season. The Lady Cavalier's basketball team is made of younger players who seek to learn from the veteran. Middlebrook, a junior English and communication major, comes from Philadelphia, Pa.

As the first African-American Major League Baseball player, Robinson has had a huge impact on sports, especially baseball. Robinson attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he showed his great potential.

Ripken,Gwynn in; McGwire out

Both Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn have been inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame. Both players made it into the Hall of Fame on their first try and both received some of the highest vote percentages in history, Ripken coming in third and Gwynn coming in seventh on the charts.
