Cabrini athletes named to Academic All-Area team

Honoring their efforts as standout athletes and students, three seniors, Sabina DeGisi, Lizzie Williams and Bryan Johnson, were honored for both their grades and their athletic ability by being named to The Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team. DeGisi was named to the team for her efforts as a member of the women's soccer team.

In her first year as a member of Cabrini's swim team, Darvin MacDonald, junior psychology major, is not your typical college student. Beginning her swimming career back in 1973 as a member of The Aqua Devils, a military swim team for dependents of active military people, MacDonald has used swimming to drive not only her ambitions, but also her career aspirations.

Off-the-wall experience for Cabrini students

Offering an opportunity to get off campus and experience some high adventure activities, the Dixon Center runs trips at little to no charge for students. Events take place weekly, while others are run sporadically throughout the semester. Each Wednesday, groups of students take a trip to the Philadelphia Rock Gym, which is located in Oaks, Pa.

Earning their ninth straight shutout win in the final home game of the season, the Cabrini women's soccer team defeated their Colonial States Athletic Conference rival Cedar Crest College with a final score of 7-0.
