Men’s basketball loses in PAC semi-finals

The men's basketball season came to an end on Thursday night, March 27, when the Alvernia Crusaders defeated the Cavaliers 67-63. Tim Maddox was Cabrini's highest scorer of the night with 15 points and Brian Wood followed close behind, scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Lady Cavaliers down and out to Alvernia College 68-45

With what can only be described as a painful loss, the fourth ranked women's basketball team lost their game on Wednesday night, Feb. 19 with a score of 68-45 against the Alvernia Lady Crusaders. This recent loss gives the team a 13-12 record overall, and a 12-4 record in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.

Foul odor invades bath

Since when does water smell like rotten eggs? Apparently it does since I moved into House 3. Can you imagine trying to brush your teeth with your minty fresh toothpaste and gagging, not because of the toothbrush in the back of your mouth, but because the water smells so bad? I never had problems with dry skin, but here, I find myself moisturizing several times a day.

Dorm destruction getting expensive

In the tiny town of Merchantville, N.J. there lived a little boy with a big dream. "I've wanted to be a rock star all my life," Sean Atwell, senior, said. All grown up, and an English communications major, Atwell is pursuing his dream. Shadesofgray. is made up of five members: Atwell, rhythm guitar, Ed Hartzel, vocals, Dave Moy, lead guitar, Joe Forgan, bass and Chris Moy, percussion.

Have you ever dreamed of making your own music video? Well, if you attended the Involvement Fair on Tuesday, Jan. 28, you had your chance. There was quite a large turnout at the fair, which was a new idea from student development. It offered a way to see the various clubs that Cabrini has to offer, to get familiar with community outreach, campus ministry, the new rugby team and even things the alumni association is doing, and to have fun at the same time.

Choir celebrates with Christmas concert

The choir will host the annual Christmas concert in the chapel on Sunday, Dec. 8. Dr. Adeline Bethany, the director, said, "It is typical of the holiday season and it gets people in the [holiday] mood." Many times people see it advertised in the newspaper and come from Philadelphia to enjoy the traditional songs of the Christmas season, Bethany said.
