A traffic accident waiting to happen

Beep, Beep! What the hell are you doing? Beep, Beep! Does this sound familiar to anyone? I don't know about you, but I am tired of being the target for auto accidents. It seems that just about everyday someone has to add a little bit of excitement to my life by trying to play bumper cars with me, except that I do not want to play.

A glimpse into the real world

Cabrini offers students the opportunity to integrate their classroom education while gaining knowledge through a work experience in a field related to their major-an internship. The internship program known as Cooperative Education is offered to all majors, and is available throughout the fall, spring and summer months.

It just may be the perfect remedy to rejuvenate that cluttered brain whether you are looking for night attractions of the city, to relax and breathe in the fresh shore air or test your limits on some daredevil rides.

Everyone dreams, but it is what we dream that raises so many questions. What does it mean? Is this really going to happen? Dream interpretation can be very complex. Since Freud's "Interpretation of Dreams," the idea has been common that dreams reflect underlying thoughts and feelings.

War affects gas prices and student spending

The war with Iraq has affected everyone in one way or another, but the most dramatic affect of all hit closer to home then anyone could have ever realized. Gasoline prices have increased since the war has started and it has left drivers putting out more money to fill their tanks.

50 nights ignored by CAP board

The count down has begun. Saturday, April 5 marked 50 nights until graduation for the senior class. This year's event was held at Brownie's 23 East, which was put together by the students. Questions have been raised as to whether or not Cabrini sponsors events such as 100 nights and 50 nights.

With so many unanswered questions and the shaky state of the country, many students find themselves torn between pro- and anti-war feelings. Many are in fear of what may lie ahead for the economy and for the American people. Protests against the pending war have filtered throughout the country, while those who are supporting it are fighting back.

Cabrini’s golf team back into swing in March

Cabrini's golf team will be back into the swing of things this March. Returning golfers along with an additional four to five new players will head down to Ocean City, Md. for "boot camp" as coach Dr. Tony Verdi likes to refer to it. There they will begin practicing for their upcoming matches and tournaments, which will follow once they return.

Trying to make a splash

Cabrini's swim club is preparing to end its season with a splash. With two more meets to go, the club is looking forward to a win that has yet to come. In its final stages of development, the swim club hopes to gain more recognition and more members in order to form a varsity team next year.

Lady Cavs struggle with starting guard injured

The women's basketball team has gone one and two in the their past three games, giving the Lady Cavs the number one ranked seed in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference south division. On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the Lady Cavs defeated Neumann College, 64-58, then went on to lose to the College of Misericordia, 73-51 on Feb.

Eagles fans keep the faith

Many of us are hanging our heads down low after the disappointment that the Eagles brought to Veterans Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 19. We all had hoped that this was the year that the Eagles were going to make it to the Super Bowl. A win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would have been a sweet victory to commemorate the last football game to be played at the Vet.

Men’s basketball lacks teamwork

Starting off this years men's basketball season they will participate in four tournaments. The intent of these tournaments is to get the Cavaliers ready for their league games. The first of the tournaments was the Shenandoah Tournament, which took place on Nov.
