‘Rip up those fake IDs; you’ll be 21 soon enough’

A 19-year-old boy was driving down a road when he was pulled over for speeding. When the police officer asked the boy for his license and registration, the officer noticed an additional identification in the boy's wallet. He confiscated the ID, only to find that it was a fake driver's license, claiming that this boy was of the age of 21.

Proposed law to raise tuition for college slackers

College slowpokes, beware. In Florida, a plan has been approved by two Senate committees to increase the tuition for state university and community college students who take more classes than their undergraduate degree would require. However, this idea is falling fast because of certain Florida senators who are concerned over the punishment for slacker students.

Cabrini receives grant from Sons of Italy

Cabrini College has received a check for a grant from Mr. William Bucci, the state president of the Order Sons of Italy (OSIA) and vice president of Private Client Group at Ryan Beck and Company, and Robert D'Anjolell, the chair of the Charitable Education Trust and president of D'Anjolell Memorial Homes in Broomall, Pa.

Students show appreciation for the kids

Over 30 student volunteers from Cabrini gathered in the Dixon Center on Tuesday, April 5 for Cabrini's Kids Count Day organized by junior Claudia Sciandra. Kids from the Don Guanella School, the Police Athletic League (PAL), and Big Brothers and Big Sisters came for a day full of sports activities, games, t-shirt making, food and prizes.

Lately I've come to the conclusion that the less you have to do the lazier you become. This semester, I took only 12.5 credits and this resulted in me having more free time than I knew what to do with. I even had all of Wednesday and all of Friday completely off.

Here at Cabrini, I have a group of four best girl friends. Upon entering Cabrini freshman year, all of us were young and healthy looking with thin bodies and fairly healthy appetites. Now flash to second semester sophomore year. All of us are overweight and the process of calling up Campus Corner has become almost a nightly ritual.

Organizations lend a hand to Christmas All Year

Christmas All Year is a project that is helping children at risk with the help of all the organizations on-campus. Claudia Sciandra, junior, is heading the program and helping all the student organizations become involved with one of the many options for all different types of community service.

There are a few certain people in everyone's life that have made a significant impact. These people have always been considered our heros or the people we looked up to and wanted to strive to be like. The person I always claimed to be this was my father and it's easy to see why.

Everyone at this school loves to complain that there is nothing to do. The common complaint is that there is nothing to do on the weekends and the weekend are so dead anyways. All those people who complain about how dead the weekends are, are usually the same people who go home every weekend.

Picture four sets of bleachers, separated by the four classes of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. On Friday, Oct. 22, the gym in the Dixon Center will be filled with screams, cheers and laughter of friends as everyone gets together and prepares for a night of fun at Midnight Madness.
