It's so easy to take on multiple tasks at Cabrini. Being an Orientation Councilor last summer, I got to know the Residence Life and Student Development offices very well. I lived at Cabrini for the entire summer, so I spent most of my time with these people.

I know in today's society music is a very important part of our culture. Our generation has grown up watching MTV and making music represent us. As I laid down in bed last night I thought a lot about what was important to me. Anyone who knows me or who followed my last perspective knows the importance of music in my life.

PAC Championship successful for women’s tennis team

Five out of six singles players won their match at the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Semi-Finals on Friday, Oct. 25 at Gwynedd-Mercy College, advancing them to the PAC Finals on Saturday, Oct. 26. On Friday, the doubles won two matches, which advanced them to finals on Saturday at finals they placed runner up.

Dixon Center open late for student use

The Dixon Center is now open until 1:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday for Cabrini students only.

‘Rokken like Dokken’ until the party ends

Anyone who knows me knows of my love for music. I'm pretty confident that my friends are sick and tired of hearing about the same bands, or listening to the same CDs in my car every time I drive somewhere. This is a passion of mine that I wear on my sleeve, and I make every effort to tie it in to every moment of every day.

Women’s soccer team looking for a PAC win

The Lady Cavalier's soccer team lost to Eastern University on Tuesday, Sept. 24 with the score 4-0. The defense had their hands full in the first half, making crucial turn-overs and taking possession of the ball. Freshman Mary Remoli had excellent foot work and kept Eastern's goalkeeper, Junior Allison Lecesse very busy.

Performing arts on the Fringe

The Philadelphia Fringe Festival is over two weeks of different performermances including solo acts, percussionists, fire-breathers, trapeze flyers, fast-talkers, finger-snappers, improvisers, and dryer-lint puppets. Ranging in price from free to $10, theater, dance, performance art, music, poetry and puppetry at various locations could be viewed at non-traditional venues throughout Old City and surrounding neighborhoods.
