Choosing a major is just one of the dilemmas incoming freshmen face before move-in day. To help those that enter college ass undeclared majors in their career paths, the Office of Cooperative Education and Career Services offers a variety of programs.

Hundreds of students gathered on the steps of Pennsylvania’s Capitol alongside professors, union leaders and legislators to protest the drastic cuts to public higher education.

Pulled over by the police along Fifth and Girard Avenue, a Philadelphia resident was inevitably asked to show her drivers license and registration. The officer also asked for a green card as a third form of identification. Confused, the woman presented the officer with her MasterCard, the only green card she carried.

Democrats lost control of the House of Representatives to the Republicans while still holding on to the Senate. Republicans also had a strong showing in the Governors races across the nation.

Local community members, students and faculty converged on the campus of Cabrini to discuss the economic ramifications for Pennsylvania if it does not enact a natural gas severance tax. The issue has become a key topic recently due to relatively new technological advances that has allowed us to extract natural gas in the Marcellus Shale sedimentary rock formation.
