It is almost summer in just a few weeks and students are planning their vacations.

Is it too late?

Want to know the best days to fly out?

Having trouble finding good deals?

Pay attention to these helpful tips that will make for a better, cheaper, unbelievable vacation.

  1.  Set a definite budget.

Having a set budget means there is a certain amount that you are willing to pay. This prevents you from paying too much and not staying within your means.

2 . Prime time booking window is 27 to 114 days in advance.

When booking a flight you never want to book too early or too late. Staying within these days before you expected vacation will ensure that you find the right price.

  1.  Southwest does not charge you to check you bags.

Checking your bags means that whatever bags you don’t carry on the plane with you are put in the cabin below the plane for the flight. Every airline allows two carry on items aboard the plane. Anymore than two bags and they must be checked in at the time you receive your tickets. Southwest is the only airline that allows you to check your first two bags free of charge.

  1.  Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Saturdays are the cheapest days to fly out.

These are the least desired days to fly. The fuel prices are mostly raised on days that everyone tends to fly out.

  1.  Airline prices drop at midnight everyday. Shop flights on a Tuesday afternoon

According to TravelandLeisure.com at midnight airlines post the flights that people reserved but never paid for so they are listed at a discounted price.

  1. Roll your clothes, do not fold them; it creates more space in your suitcase.

Rolling your clothes makes better usage  of space than folding them.

  1.  The cheapest time to fly during the day is the afternoon or evening not early in the day or the night.

Most people want to arrive at their destination in the morning so that they have a full day ahead of them. If you look for times during the day to fly your tickets will be significantly lower in price.

  1. The most expensive days to fly are Sunday and Fridays.

Everyone is usually trying to get home by on Sunday so they can get to work Monday. Friday is the start of the weekend it makes sense that people want to arrive on this day.

  1.  Download Hopper !!

Hopper is an app that tracks the best time for you to book your vacation. All you do is download the app put in your travel details, dates, people and desired location. Hopper will send you a message telling you to wait for the prices to drop or to book now.

  1. Last thing is to have fun !!

It’s time to relax and enjoy the scenery of wherever you are.
