The Real Housewives of New Jersey

The Real Housewives of New Jersey have done it again. The reunion show heard throughout the world proved to be a paramount success for Bravo TV, sweeping in 3.9 million viewers for the first part of two insanely emotional episodes.
Let’s start from the beginning. Andy Cohen, host of the certifiably outrageous reunion, went around and did his routine “how are you doing” skit. The drama slowly started to unravel when table-flipping diva Teresa Guidice insinuated that housewives villain Danielle Staub was a “skank” because she engaged in sexual acts with her former ex-boyfriend one week into their relationship while at Guidice’s shore house.
This argument set the tone for the viewing audience, giving them a glimpse into the future ticking time bomb that was about to explode.
If you’re an avid fan of the housewives, you probably know that Staub did not acknowledge the birth of Jacqueline Laurita’s son, Nicholas or Guidice’s daughter, Audriana.  Moments after the first outburst, when Ms. Sex tape herself was questioned by Cohen and the other housewives, she snarly commented back to Guidice by saying “did you acknowledge the birth of your nephew?” That was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Guidice stood up, walked over to Staub and screamed in her face, resulting in Staub walking off stage.
This all occurred within 15 minutes of the show, which is record timing for a Housewives’ brawl. Eventually, things settled down and Cohen was able to continue asking his million questions from dedicated viewers throughout the country.
The matriarch of the New Jersey housewives, Caroline Manzo, displayed her no-nonsense attitude throughout the entire program. Her disgust for Staub was apparent from her first appearance on camera until her last. She even lost her temper a couple of times and verbally went after Staub and her parenting skills. But as always, Manzo stayed the classy lady that she has been, not moving from her seat or throwing pillows from the couch. She deserves a gold star for being the best behaved during both segments.
When was the last time you saw a hair weave displayed on a reunion show? Probably never. Not to worry, Staub brought one to show Laurita that her daughter really did hurt her (or just add on to the damage that was already there) when she pulled her hair at the fashion event they all attended.
But wait, it gets better. After all of the accusations, fights and tears, Laurita turned a new leaf and decided to make up with Staub. Guidice proceeded to do the same. They shared awkward hugs and emotional words, a disappointing yet unexpected ending to the insane roller coaster ride of a season.
The big question that has been on everyones minds since the show ended is “will there be a season three?” Well, it has been confirmed that Staub will not be returning and contracts with the other housewives have not been discussed. There were rumors that Guidice’s sister-in-law will be the new addition to the group but only time will tell if there is any truth to this gossip.
Whether this crew of craziness returns or bids us farewell, one thing is for certain: their mark has been left and they will never be forgotten. From hair-pulling to table-flipping to shopping sprees and outlandish parties, this group of prima donna’s will continue to make their mark wherever they go.
