Cross-country is beginning its 32 season with a new coach and an influx of new runners. In preparation for the coming season, runners have been practicing many mornings and taking guidance from their new coach, Coach Joe Dare.

The Cabrini cross country team competed against other conference schools in their last race of the season, the CSAC Championship, on Saturday, Oct. 27. They finished well with a few runners that made it in the standing.
The GBC Fall Classic, hosted by Goldey-Beacon College, was the next stop on both men and women’s cross country season. Both posted positive finishes in the top 10 on Friday, Oct. 5.
After running with Division II teams the previous weekend, the Cavaliers cross country teams were back on the same track at the Belmont Classic on Saturday, Sept. 29.

With a group of only seven runners, Cabrini’s cross country team wasn’t able to place in most of the meets that they competed in. However, this hurdle didn’t stop them from beating their personal bests.
Where O’ where has our cross country team gone? That is the question many people have been asking around campus when it comes to Cabrini athletics. The men’s cross country team has fallen from once being a competing team to one that is pressed to find students to participate in this sport.
