Cabrini women’s basketball team finished their regular season as top contenders in the CSAC tournament. Cabrini (20-4, 15-1) will be hosting Gwynedd Mercy University (15-11, 11-5 CSAC) in a semifinal game. The Blue and White scored a pair of wins over the Griffins this season, scoring 63-55 to open the CSAC slate. The Blue and White also beat Gwynedd Mercy in February and hopes to do the same tomorrow night. Gwynedd Mercy promised that this will not be just walk in the park for Lady Cavs as Gwynedd Mercy looks to bring their A game.

Junior Amber Keys secured a career high of 22 points in their first CSAC game with a 63-55 win over Gwynedd Mercy University. The cavaliers impressive fifth consecutive win improves the clubs record to (5-1) this season and with a win over Gwynedd Mercy University they hope to make it (6-1).
Amber Keys fellow teammate, Junior Megan Decker also secured her place on the stat sheet by 10 points, 8 rebounds and a career high 6 assists.
Gwynedd Mercy University’s Senior Nicole Dougherty (11 points) will be leading her team (1-4, 0-1 CSAC) into the CSAC championship showdown against the Cavaliers. Gwynedd Mercy University had an impressive game their first time with Junior Natasha Mathews and Sophomore Chandler DiFebbo securing seven points each, while freshman Charlotte Kucowski led the team with 8 rebounds.
