Cabrini College offers 15 sports in intramurals. They consist of men’s teams, women’s teams and co-ed teams. The schedules for these seasons are almost endless. They start in the early fall, go right through all exams and play in the spring. The games are scattered all over the campus’s calendar. Everyone in the Cabrini Community is invited to come out and play. Many students enjoy these fun and interesting sports. It gets to be very competitive but it’s laid back at the same time. One student here on campus loves the game.
“I love the sense of being on a team and playing together to win,” Cj Doherty, sophomore business major, said.
Cj Doherty enjoys playing in the intramurals with fellow basketball players as well as other students who don’t play on the team. Intramurals allows him to step out from his studies for a little bit to go do something he loves. The team plays every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. and each teams consist of eight players.
“Playing in the basketball intramural team allows me to exercise as well as socialize,” Cj Doherty, sophomore business major, said.
To register for any of the sports on the Intramural leagues is very easy. All you have to do is go onto the website, cabrini.athleague.com and click the ‘Player Sign Up’ link. After clicking on the link, make sure you put in all of your information and submit it. After clicking submit, make sure you go into your email address to see if you received a conformation email to confirm on the activation link. Within clicking on the activation link, you will be taken to the ‘Join Team’ page. On this page, you will be able to enter the name of the team you like to participate on or being able to create your own team. Simple click ‘Join’ to be added to the team.
