Halloween Movies

Who does not like Halloween movies? The best part of the fall is around Halloween time, reason for girls to curl up next to a guy during a scary movie. People get to dress up and be whoever they want to be for a whole day and night. Being younger, children go to door to door and ask for candy from the people who live there. Getting older Halloween is all about being super cute and going to parties and what not. The one thing that remains the same are the movies that come out during this time.

“Casper the Friendly Ghost,” is a classic around this time of the year. When thinking of ghosts one of the first things that come to mind are scary, spooky, haunted and mean. Well, not this little guy. Casper was a friendly ghost who just wanted to have friends and belong somewhere. During his adventure by himself he flies into this girl who didn’t belong either. She was trying to figure out who she was also. Her name is Wendy, they instantly became friends and go on many adventures. However, there are many obstacles that come in the way of their friendship.

Another classic Halloween movie would be, “Hocus Pocus”. This movie is about three witches that have been brought back from the dead by a teenager, his sister and his girlfriend. They accidentally open the magic book, which brings these three spirits back to life and end up haunting the town until they are executed by the teens.

“Halloween town,” is a movie about a young teen, who just finds out that she is a witch; her mom has been trying to hide from her children the whole thing about who they really are. She travels to Halloween town and meets her grandmother and sees the whole town of it and find out that the town is in danger and they need her help.

“Edward Scissorhands,” is a movie about a boy who is brought to life by a mad scientist. This boy happens to fall in love with a young woman. Even though their lives are very different he warms her heart and she begins to fall in love with him as well.

During this season, go back to your childhood and start watching these movies again. They have only gotten better!
