‘Dear John’ brings tears to viewers’

Fans of “The Notebook” hit movie theaters everywhere to see another one of Nicholas Sparks’ book-to-movie triumphs, “Dear John.”
The movie’s cast included stars Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried and “Step Brothers” cast member, Richard Jenkins.
This heartfelt romantic film deals with the trials and tribulations of a relationship burdened by war.

We love vacations as much as anyone does. Sometimes we need a break from reality. Yet, we must accept the true reality of the “Justice Matters” curriculum. We must be in solidarity with the poor, the outcasts, the marginalized, and the oppressed as well as be present to the community around us whether it is in Norristown or our hometown, or also our campus community.

WYBF streams for 24-hour broadcast for relief in Haiti

To aid relief efforts and increase donations from the Cabrini college radio station stepped up its contributions and held a successful event that raised over $2,100 dollars. The radio station, 89.1 WYBF FM The Burn, under the direction of Heather Shanley-Fullerton, put together a 24-hour broadcast event and dance to help the people of Haiti.

Alumnus directs local theater

If a person wants to see a theater production in the Philadelphia area, they can turn to a place that they may not have thought of to begin with, the Iron Age Theatre. The Iron Age Theatre, located in Norristown, offers productions all year round. Its non-traditional performances are what separate it from other local venues.
