Credit CARD Act will protect college students, teens

On Feb. 22, 2010 the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 made by Congress is finally going to come into full effect. I believe this act is definitely going to have plenty of positive effects, especially on students. "With this bill we're putting in place some common sense reforms," President Barack Obama said at the signing at The White House.

Cera entertains in ‘Youth in Revolt’

Michael Cera has played hilarious movie roles in films such as "Superbad" with Jonah Hill to "Year One" with Jack Black and now on to his newest film "Youth in Revolt" that came out Jan. 8. The movie, based on a book written by C.D. Payne, is full of jokes and amusing characters.

Contemporary Dance Team has their first performance this weekend on campus

Cabrini College has started its very own Contemporary Dance Company. Although Cabrini already has a dance team that performs at half-time for the menss basketball game, this squad of girls is approaching dance in a different way than the team. They plan on having performances that are more like theater with make-up and costumes.

Black and White Gala kicks off Cabrini Week

The annual Cabrini College Black and White Gala held on Saturday, Nov. 7 in the Mansion was a success again this year. Students dressed up and gathered together to have a fun night of dancing and good food. Each year Cabrini hosts this dance that includes great decorations, an upbeat DJ and a reasonable fee of $10.

Repeat loss stings field hockey team

The women's field hockey team lost to Neumann University on Saturday, Oct. 17 with a final score of 3-2. With the opening of Neumann's brand new turf field, the Cavs sought revenge after the upset of being defeated by the Knights in the Colonial States Athetic Championship game last year.

Women’s tennis drops to Gwynedd; looks to improve 0-7 losing record

he Cabrini College women's tennis team is not off to the strong season they had predicted. 0-7 on the season, this season doesn't look to be ending the same way as last. The team played an away game on Saturday, Sept. 19 against Gwynedd Mercy College and the Cavs were looking to redeem themselves after their recent loss to Neumann University.
