Lady Cavs lose close game

Junior Brittany Sandone led the Lady Cavs with 19 points. However, her incredible performance was not able to match the play of Scranton’s post player Meredith Mesaris, who scored a game-high 26 points to lead the University of Scranton Royals to a 57-53 victory.

Cavaliers advance to first Final Four in school history

The Cavaliers men’s basketball team kept their amazing ride going with a 78-58 win over the University of Scranton Royals in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at the Pepin Gymnasium in Middlebury, Vt., on Saturday, March 10.
