Sophomore striker George Lambritsios has been playing soccer ever since he was five-years-old. On Sunday, Nov. 4, his career season, where he scored four goals and recorded 15 points, concluded with a CSAC Championship.

Freshman goalkeeper R.J. Pino filled in admirably after junior starting keeper Eric Nowicki left with an injury 10 minutes into the game. In the end, Rosemont was able to pull out a close 2-1 overtime win over the Cavaliers.

Cabrini’s match against Gwynedd-Mercy was one that was set up for a dramatic finish. The last time these two teams met, it ended with a Cavs’ win, but one that did not come easy in the 2-1 win in double overtime. Cabrini is looking to defend their CSAC title with this win they are one step closer.

Cavs men’s soccer took Philadelphia Biblical to double overtime on Oct. 23 but both teams were unable to find the back of the net. The five seniors were honored before the game and during halftime and lead the team in a relentless effort against the Crimson Eagles.
