Everyone on this team brings a different element. Throughout the season, Kahn was trying to find their niche and in the past six games the Cavs are dominating, working together as a cohesive unit.

The nearly unbeatable Cavaliers had closed the 2011-12 season with a 31-2 record, the last coming in heartbreaking fashion to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the national championship game. Cabrini lost both games last season by a combined five points. The goal for the 2012-13 season instantly became about returning to Salem. This is a team that not only wants to win big; they want to shoulder great expectations.

Cavs return with fresh faces, determination

The result of the Cavaliers’ appearance in the national championship game last season has made expectations higher this time around and raised the bar for the players and the coaches to get back to the finals to bring back a championship and first place title.
