The Lady Cavs softball team headed into their doubleheader against Gwynedd-Mercy College with a seven-game win streak. But seven is not a lucky number sometimes. That was the case on Tuesday, April 2, as the Lady Griffins swept the Lady Cavs in the doubleheader, taking Game 1, 5-1, and Game 2, 9-1.

After 110 minutes of scoreless play, the game went to sudden-death penalty kicks. Cabrini would rally to win the shootout, winning back-to-back CSAC titles with a 5-4 shootout score and a 1-0 win.

The women’s tennis team drew a fairly big crowd at their home match against CSAC rival Gwynedd-Mercy College on Friday, Oct. 5. Despite the energy, Cabrini was unable to weather the storm as Gwynedd-Mercy would go 7-0 in CSAC games, beating Cabrini 9-0.

Cabrini held an accounting career fair at 10 a.m till noon on Friday, Sept. 21. This event was open to any Cabrini and Eastern accounting majors.
