Cavs advance to second round with upset of Hampden-Sydney

Greg Lewis teed up a three from the corner with under five seconds left. But the shot rattled off the iron and floated into the waiting hands of DeLeon Floyd, finishing off an 80-78 win for the Cavaliers over No. 16 Hampden-Sydney College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Lady Cavs season ends with loss to No. 10 Catholic

The Lady Cavs played an admirable game on Friday, March 1, keeping the margin within four points for 35 minutes before eventually falling to the 10th-ranked Lady Cardinals by a score of 52-44 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Swimming drops meet at Swarthmore

Cabrini falls to No. 2 Virginia Wesleyan

After avoiding an upset in their season opener, the Cavs faced a quick turnaround against one of the nation’s best Division III teams. Virginia Wesleyan College, the host of the Marlin Tip-off Tournament, proved to be too tough for the Cavaliers, handing them their first loss of the season in a 96-59 final on Saturday, Nov. 17.
