This was a season of new beginnings for both swim teams. New head coach Cindy Ikeler has helped the program take a step forward and finish strong at championships and with several members of both teams returning next season, the Cavs could just get even better.

Men’s swimming dropped their fifth meet in a row while the women tasted victory for the second time this season after a 13-meet losing streak to close out the regular season.

Swimming drops meet at Swarthmore

The men’s team suffered an unfortunate loss with a score of 127-85, which also brought our record down to 4-9 for the season. The women’s team fell 119-74 with their record dropping to 1-13.

Men’s, women’s swimming falls to Ursinus

Both the men’s and women’s teams lost at their meet against Ursinus College on Saturday, Jan. 19. The men’s team lost, 107-59, while the women’s team fell, 106-61.
